Come work at a place where we take pride in creating a workplace environment that values hard work, commitment, and growth.Job Description:As a Cyber Security Engineer Manager for Academy Sports + Outdoors, you will protect organizational data and information systems, lead enterprise security solutions, and continual enhancement of our protection architectures and profiles. Utilizing advance security architecture process, tools, technologies, and knowledge of Academy Information Technology (IT) environment, you will lead engineering of solutions to protect our data and IT systems. You will also evaluate, recommend and implement new technologies to increase the security of our existing and emerging digital environment.Education:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field of study is required* Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), CISM or similar certifications requiredWork Experiences:* 5+ years of information security engineering, architecture and/or governance experience required* Experience with developing or implementing secure architecture and meet business neededSkills:* Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO27001, CoBIT)* Sound understanding of Cloud, Network and Platform technologies e.g. Next Generation Firewalls, WAF, D-DoS solutions, Web Proxies, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Encryption, Malware, Forensics etc.* Application and Host security architectures and best practices. Extensive knowledge in the IAM (Identity and Access Management), especially with upgrades and ongoing support.* Excellent time management skills, ability to support multiple projects, and effectively manage a large volume of work* Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment* Ability to communicate technical matters and details to a varied audience, especially non-technical team members* Ability to remain organized, pay attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines. Innovative problem solving, research and analytical skills.* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levelsResponsibilities:* Lead the engineeringand operation of security technologies and processes to meeting business needs* Lead Cyber Security projects and align with strategic roadmap and business strategy* Create and maintain reporting and dashboards to measure the success of the security engineering and operations* Advise and escalate security issues to leadership* Coordinate incident response activities while acting as a lead incident responder or incident scribe* Train new cyber security team members and provide refresher training for seasoned team members* Identify and maintain awareness of trends, technologies, and regulations which might affect security operations* Provide support to technical teams for issue resolution and security threat mitigation* Document security risks and incidents using enterprise compliance tools* Manages meetings effectively by setting agendas, maintaining focus and identifying action items.* Regularly provides communication and insights to IT senior leadership.* Ensures that all functions and activities are performed in accordance with accepted IT department standards and procedures.* Using risk management processes, develop and maintain a cybersecurity roadmap with clear milestones for the organization.
