Program Manager The Program Manager is responsible for planning, providing governance controls, and overseeing the successful delivery of the program(s) output and products. The Program Manager will work across a broad range of IT business units and deliver program(s) that align to AHEAD's End Clients organization's strategic vision. Roles and Responsibilities * Responsible for monitoring the progress of all initiatives within the portfolio against a set of defined strategic goals to ensure that demands are maintaining alignment with overall business objectives and delivering value within exacting financial and resource constraints. * Develop and implement a strategy for the program team(s), including developing a robust risk mitigation plan. * Define, coordinate, and monitor the project(s) interlinks, overlaps, and interdependencies between different projects and provide a clear and actionable plan for the program team and Client(s) to follow. * Defines the program governance (controls) and plans the overall program. * Manages the Program and Project workstream budgets, stakeholder communication, and aligns the deliverables to the Program's outcome. * Plan and coordinate technical project workstreams from initiation through delivery. * Ensure service delivery success and Client satisfaction through effective project management. * Manage project initiation activities, which include the identification of contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situations, and necessary contacts. Gain access to existing information as needed. * Develop, define, and execute project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables. * Manages multiple project teams and applies basic project management principles for development through deployment to including preparing detail project plans, tracking, reporting status, delegating, and providing performance feedback (Management). * Perform analysis of the utilization of resources for projects in execution and measuring for future resource allocation needs. * Work across organizations to merge and simplify processes and artifacts to support all delivery methodologies/life cycles. * Partner directly with various client sponsors, leadership, senior management, directors, and vice presidents through the portfolio management process. * Establish and drive ongoing development and tracking of additional services revenue opportunities within the client's environment. * Proactively leads a joint planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive business relationship. * Participate in the pre-sales opportunity assessment process to understand the client's business, technical objectives, and product requirements. * Work with the services team to map design into a product/services roadmap to help the client solve its objective(s). * Prepare Communications Management Plan and Portfolio Management Plan for executives and key Stakeholders. * Coordinate and conduct stage gate review meetings with Stakeholders to review ongoing intake, prioritization and budgeting. * Develop and distribute portfolio reports (resource allocation, execution and performance metrics, executive summaries of business segments and financial trends, progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations). * Understands client needs and matches them to relevant services or products; manages client expectations. * Understands and communicates goals and critical success factors for the project; sells ideas persuasively and paces the communications properly (Communication). Qualifications: * Ability to successfully communicate complex business requirements to multiple audiences e.g., IT, operations, clients, etc. and translate feedback into actionable information. * Excellent problem solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Cross-Functional collaboration, effective multi-tasking, and coordination with many functional groups. * Ability to work independently. * Strong leadership skills.
