Military Services Group (MSG) works with the United States Military to treat and supply water and to collect and treat wastewater for military installations all over the country as part of the federal government's Utility Privatization Program.Primary RoleResponsible for the financial analysis and budgeting for various contracts within the Military Services Group (MSG) in the market-based business. Assist Finance Director with monthly close, budgeting, project costing and general accounting activity. Responsible for engaging and closely interacting with operations group at installations supported by MSG.Key AccountabilitiesBudgeting:* Preparation of annual operational budgets and monthly forecasting* Variance analysis of actual to budget and forecast* Track KPIs, report on variances, and provide management with recommendations for improvement(s)* Prepare monthly financial reports for presentation to Military Services Group Management team* Forecast Balance Sheet and review of Balance Sheet changes & variances.Project Costing:* Track and analyze actual project results to original estimates.
