We Are Hiring Nursing Supervisor/ Manager - Progressive Care Unit Full Time, Days (3 x 12) Competitive Benefits Murfreesboro, TN We are a 36 bed unit who care for a diverse patient population including those diagnosed with MI, CHF, Stroke, Respiratory Failure, Kidney Failure, and\or are otherwise acutely ill. We will have tech support on the unit. RN's will manage various cardiac drips, bipaps, highflow oxygen, insulin drips, and PD while collaborating and coordinating care across many departments. We work together as a team and care for each other as a family. As a Nurse Manager, you will oversee the day to day functions of the Progressive Care Unit, workflow and nursing resources. Previous experience in PCU will be essential to success in this role. What You Will Do Manage clinical operations across assigned areas to ensure meeting performance metrics and other operational initiatives. Manage operations to provide high quality, cost effective services. Measure effectiveness and take steps to ensure continuous performance improvement. Develop, implement and evaluate program services and initiatives from data analytics, trends and other findings that drive performance and goal achievement. Collaborate with others to assist with problem identification, resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new clinical services and systems/performance measures. Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required: Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience required. Work Experience: 3 years of experience required. 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
