Start your search for a career with BancorpSouth!Position: Vendor Management AnalystPhysical Location: 201 South Spring St, Tupelo, MS 38804Reports To: Director of Vendor ManagementWorking Conditions: Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditionsJob Grade: NE 18Job Group Category: Non-ExemptWork Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with overtime as neededPrimary Purpose:To assist Vendor Management by acting as a liaison between the various lines of business, the IT team, and Vendors that BancorpSouth utilizes for third party services/solutions.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to analyze contract terms* Directly negotiate recommended redlines with BancorpSouth vendors and internal stakeholders* Cultivate relationships with various cross-functional teams in order to support compliance with Vendor Management Policies and Procedures.* Assist in the BancorpSouth's efforts to develop and continuously improve vendor risk controls* Assist in pre-exam, compliance, and audit requests for vendor due diligence documents* Work collaboratively with IT managers and stakeholders to facilitate third party vendor onboarding.* Maintaining evidence of due diligence and risk/control assessments* Assist with merger and acquisition contracts, including offboarding* Assist in Due Diligence reviews based on vendor risk rating - set review dates, track review progress, and follow up with vendor/Business staff as needed* Assist in partnering with key stakeholders to determine business needs and issuing Requests for Proposals* Assist in uploading/maintaining contracts in Vendor Management software* Assist in maintaining the Vendor Management due diligence documents* Schedule remote and on site demos as needed for business unit, Vendor Relationship Owner, and/or IT team* Provide support and guidance to IT staff and business unit where necessary* Provide tactful and professional feedback to vendors including conveying that they will not be considered for the specific engagement* Assist with Implementation hand-off* Schedule and lead meetings with vendors and stakeholders as needed* Performs other duties as assignedJob Specifications:* General knowledge of the banking industry with at least 3 years banking experience preferred (but not required)* Bachelor's degree in banking, legal, or IT related field (preferred but not required)* General knowledge of contract concepts* Paralegal experience is a plus (but not required)* General knowledge of IT (but not required)* Must be a self-starter and excel at time management* Excellent organizational and documentation skills to prioritize projects and multi task* Project professional appearance and manner* Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing* Must be proficient in Google Docs/Drive* Able to work both self-directed and as part of a team* The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate critical-thinking skills* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and be a team player* Flexible - need to be able to adapt to change and work in a fast paced environment* High ethical standardsDisclaimerThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
