GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for writing and managing donor correspondence for Foundation president and other Beaumont leaders. Responsible for overseeing and managing major projects for the Beaumont Health Foundation and Beaumont Health, under the guidance of the Foundation's Associate Vice President Development & Major Gift Services. These projects support Major Gift Services, Annual Fund, Special Events, Marketing and more, as needed. Responsible for content production and maintenance for Beaumont Foundation website. Collaborates with Beaumont's marketing team on social media opportunities for donor recognition and other Foundation communication needs. Writes and oversees production on the Foundation's digital donor newsletter and provides writing and editorial assistance for other digital media and print efforts, including the Foundation magazine. Works with vendors to provide appropriate software and design support for project management and communications efforts. Reports to the Associate Vice President Development & Major Gift Services ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Uses strong writing skills to help steward and cultivate current and prospective donors through personalized correspondence on behalf of the Beaumont Health Foundation president and Beaumont Health leadership. 2. Responsible for overseeing and managing major projects for Beaumont Foundation's Development Services. These projects support a wide range of areas including donor communications, digital communications, marketing, annual fund, special events, community relations and more. 3. Responsible for production of Beaumont Foundation's digital donor newsletter and other digital communications, as needed. 4. Responsible for content production and maintenance for Beaumont Foundation website and social media communications 5. Provides writing and editorial assistance on other communications pieces including donor magazine (Healthy Giving) and other special publications, as needed. 6. Works with vendors to provide appropriate software and design support for project management and communications efforts. 7. Assists in filming of donor stewardship and solicitation videos STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in English, journalism or related field, with a strong emphasis on written communications. Experience with digital media. * Three to five years of professional writing experience. Three to five years of experience in project management and previous experience with digital media. Experience in a health care fundraising environment as well as knowledge of medical terminology preferred. * Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google analytics and basic search engine optimization. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Knowledge of fundraising databases such as Raiser's Edge is very helpful.
