Are you ready to elevate your career?Position Summary:Will be involved with generating airplane performance data, flying qualities, and systems flight testing of Cessna jets and propeller aircraft. Testing includes the development and certification of existing and new types of aircraft for Textron Aviation single and multi-engine piston, turboprop and jet aircraft. Activities include reducing and expanding takeoff, climb, cruise and landing data. Some travel may be required.Responsibilities:* Research U.S. and foreign regulatory and operational requirements, develop test procedures, write flight test plans, analyze flight data and write reports to document generated performance data.* Generate performance data for flight manuals, operating manuals, check lists, etc.* Contribute to efforts to improve airplane performance data analysis processes and tools.* Work with various groups within Cessna Product Engineering to develop systems flight test procedures and pass/fail criteria.* Conduct performance, flying qualities and systems flight testing by working with flight crews via telemetry station and on-board during flight tests.* Participate in the development and improvement flight test processes and tools.Education:Pursuing Mechanical, Aerospace & Electrical Engineering PrefferedAt Least 60 hours completed towards Bachelor of Science in EngineeringPosition requirements:* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Professional Demeanor
