Job Title Assistant General Counsel Procurement Job Description Summary Assistant General Counsel, Procurement will be located in Chicago, IL and will lead legal efforts in our department transformation to drive best in class legal support for our global and regional procurement teams. This is a great opportunity to take a leadership role to shape our global procurement contract lifecycle program. The position is expected to manage one direct report. Job Description Responsibilities: * Spearhead the transformation of Cushman's legal support for its global and regional procurement teams to drive best in class legal support with transformational global processes, governance principles and support structure * Lead and actively manage the contract strategy process through the entire contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to compliance and resolution * Trusted business partner to leaders of global and regional procurement teams to support their ambitious strategic initiatives by driving business partnership and smart risk solutions * Partnering cross-functionally globally with stakeholders in business and legal teams to drive global contract excellence and compliance * Evolve our culture to meet our expectations for global contract lifecycle program * Performs other related duties as required or requested. Requirements: * Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and a member in good standing of a U.S. state bar. * 8+ years of commercial/procurement contracting experience; at least 3 years of which obtained at a major law firm and at least 3 years of which obtained at a major international corporation * Excellent business judgment with the ability to provide sound legal advice which reflects an understanding of Cushman's overall business objectives * Deep knowledge of commercial/procurement contracting matters * Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and satisfy numerous competing demands * Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and integrity * Self-motivated and ability to complete matters without supervision; must be able to work independently and be execution-oriented * Superior written and verbal communication skills * Ability to effectively manage outside counsel Cushman & Wakefield provides equal employment opportunity.
