If you are seeking a role that offers you the opportunity to work with clients through critical issues, consider a career in Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) Technology practice.We are actively seeking an experienced Interface Systems Engineer who will be an instrumental Engineering Liaison interfacing with our Client providing oversight to several program offices that deliver solutions, and provides engineering support for the successful deployment and sustainment of Healthcare interfaces between various new systems, while interfacing with vendors. Working collaboratively with the various teams under the our Client's Program Office, and Vendors, we are looking for a self-driver who is detail-oriented, with proven experience developing repeatable processes and strategies for the sustainment of assigned interfaces.In this highly visible role our Interface Systems Engineer will be involved with the following Day to Day Activities* Support the deployment and sustainment of system interfaces between the new and external interfacing systems* Manage the review of interface control documents (ICDs) by consolidating comments from various reviewers and setting up adjudication meetings between program office and vendors* Manage the Remedy interface queue for Customer tickets assigned to the Interface team* Research production issues on assigned interfaces and develop Briefings of Record (BOR) to senior leadership* Collaborate with various Client Systems Engineering teams (requirements, architecture, testing, cyber, and infrastructure) in support of interface SDLC* Assist in defect analysis during Pre-Defect Review Working Group meetings* Provide systems engineering support for new system deploymentsThe teamSystems EngineeringOur Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.Qualifications:Required:* Bachelor of Arts Degree from an accredited College or University* 3 to 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience supporting the software development lifecycle (SDLC), System/Integration Testing, and Requirements Management* Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC methods, as well as information security and compliance concepts.* Current active Secret clearance* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the needfor employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred Skills:Proven experience with QA lifecycle & collaboration tools such as IBM Jazz, SharePoint, Remedy etc.* HL7 experience* Strong verbal and business writing/Communication Skills* Experience with human centered design best practices* Familiarity with Agile development practices (i.e. Scrum, Kanban)* Experience with Jira tool* Ability to work in a highly collaborative environmentHow you'll growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
