In this role you will be responsible for:The physical therapist performs evaluation and treatment of patients/residents upon referral to relieve pain, prevent disability, develop and improve skills and restore functionThis position generally requires providing service to adolescents, adult, older adult and frail elderly age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual servedThe Level 3 physical therapist also has additional responsibilities in the student education program and within a department or programIf you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:Doctor of Physical Therapy, Bachelor's Degree, entry level Master's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree plus certification in PT from an APTA accredited curriculum requiredInternal candidates are required to have successfully met all requirements as a staff level 2 for at least two years with a minimum rating of consistently meets on all performance appraisal standardsExternal candidates are required to have equivalent experienceCPR Certification is requiredPennsylvania licensure in Physical Therapy is requiredCertification is required for specific service areas, as specified by the Administrator for Campus Therapies, Program Director or ManagerPhysical Demands:Standing and/or walking most of an 8-hour day with occasional lifting of weights up to 50 lbs and frequent lifting of weights up to 25 lbsContinuous near vision, depth perception, accommodation, full field of vision or compensatory ability, eye hand coordination, far acuity, and ability to read hand-written documentsContinuous normal conversation, frequent telephone conversation at normal volumes, occasional conversation at low voice volumes We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
