Having successfully built market leaders in filtration, medical, safety, instruments, heat transfer, and indoor air quality, Madison generates revenue of $5 billion, with an enterprise value worth well over $7 billion.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities* Manage all aspects of HR in a non-union facility.* Managed all aspects of Human Resources policies, initiatives and strategies* Ensured HR's partnership with and support of the functional leadership to drive business plans and promote unity* Managed compensation programs, benefit programs, departmental budget, and the performance management process to ensure effectiveness, compliance, competitiveness, and equity within the organization* Direct employee relations, workforce planning process, staffing, and reward and recognition programs of all exempt and nonexempt positions* Maintained HR compliance with federal, state, and local government mandates, as well as any related international mandates or requirements* Oversee the assessment and development of training needs with regard to employee development at all levels of the organization* Partnered with Quality department on Safety, Worker's Compensation, and Security policies and administration* Present at monthly Operations Meetings* Develop and direct payroll policies and procedures in cooperation with Finance* Direct rollout of revised Employee Handbook and on-line employee access to policies* Strategic Planning with the management team about the Conair facilityQualifications* BA/BS in Human Resources or related area required with 8+ years of experience as HR generalist, preferably in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.* Knowledge of applicable state, federal, local employment/labor laws and regulations.* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within org.* Must have professional demeanor and excellent work ethic* Must have attention to detail and excellent mathematical accuracy* Proficient in MS Office* Human Resources Certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred
