Are you a software architect that wants to work with customers to develop custom solutions to meet their business needs? We are looking for someone who can design and produce solutions on Genesys technology for our customers. What this role is: We are a customer-facing team responsible for the innovation, delivery and support of software development. Our main offerings are providing custom Contact Center Applications, Genesys product extensions, third-party systems integrations. You will work with leading names in the industry and demonstrate your skills in integrated, resilient, and scalable software development. Your work will be focused on cloud development in the AWS and Azure platforms. You'll work with the customers to collect the information on their project, design, develop, and deploy the custom solution. The typical projects are based on the Genesys Cloud and Genesys Multicloud platforms and 3rd party API integrations. This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the United States. What this role isn't: This role is not building new features for all of Genesys Cloud. You'll work with our customers and partners to develop custom solutions for their business needs. You will outline their needs and build on AWS, Azure, Windows, Linux, Web and Mobile. You will partner with other members of the Genesys team, customers and partners. What you'll bring to the table: You will need a strong understanding of software architecture and development and an understanding of contact center operations and terminology. Having worked with or being familiar with the capabilities of Genesys Cloud will be a key to your success. You will show strong ownership of your work in building innovative and scalable solutions. You will also need to conceptualize the solution with our customers and partners to make sure it solves the business need. Some details about what you'll do: * You will architect, design, and development for cloud-based contact center solutions. Most work will be in AWS with serverless deployment practices * You will provide documentation of customer solutions using established methodologies and best practices. You will work with our QA teams to ensure quality is built-in from the start * You will work with sales, customers and partners as a development consultant. You will discuss requirements, design concepts, security concerns and make recommendations to determine the ideal solution * Designing responsive user interfaces for Windows, Web and mobile platforms using React with MUI, JQuery, WPF, Swing or similar, and building back-end services using Node, Java, C#, or Python * Leverage Genesys API's and services to build various custom solutions, third-party integrations, communications systems, notification platforms, real-time data transformations and mobile applications * Work with CRM and case management technology integration such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Zendesk, Remedy, ServiceNow, ServiceDesk, Siebel or SAP * Troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production and solving them before launch * Provide post-deployment engineering support as a subject matter expert where appropriate Job Requirements: * 10+ years of commercial software development with experience in C#, Java and JavaScript ES5. If you have experience in C, C++, Python and PHP, it's a plus * 5+ years of developing SaaS applications in AWS, Azure, or other public cloud environments * Knowledge and experience in developing web user interfaces using ReactJS. Experience with AngularJS and jQuery is a plus * Demonstrate analytical programming and problem-solving skills, including software operation diagnostics * Familiarity with security practices and evaluating proposed solutions for vulnerabilities * Show the ability to understand and consult with clients and partners in a high-paced environment * Experience with Agile and Scrum project practices and tools such as Jira * Experience with consulting services and project delivery best practices * Experience developing with Genesys APIs and Genesys Cloud.
