MORE ABOUT THIS JOB Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. Function as a member of the Organizational Design team within Change Management & Business Intelligence (CMBI). CMBI is a centralized organization of change agents singularly focused on the design, execution and delivery of key initiatives in direct support of the Consumer Investment Management Division (CIMD). CIMD provides asset management and wealth management solutions to world-class institutions and individual investors globally. Responsibilities include: Perform analysis of business functions, processes and resources to determine a strategic state that leverages business process modeling, business intelligence, infrastructure, and vendor solutions. Rationalize existing support models and document workflows in Signavio to reduce firm risk and improve operational efficiency. Develop target operating models that are consistent with Firmwide strategies and standardize processes across the division. Synthesize complex decisions made across front-to-back product lifecycle and implement robust decision models driven by systematic rules. Collaborate with change groups both inside and outside of Operations to ensure recommendations are understood, adopted and supported. Maintain periodic communications strategy with global stakeholders to provide project progress updates and resolve issues. Design internal metrics to establish return on investments and delivery of benefits from team's project portfolios. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Must have three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Utilizing Signavio and performing hands-on root cause analysis to dissect and document a complex process in Signavio and identifying opportunities for improvement through a review of existing roles and responsibilities, data quality/lineage, infrastructure, control environment and impact to client experience; Utilizing MS Office tools, including mathematical, lookup, and logical functions in Excel to support data, structuring and analysis, and Word and PowerPoint to articulate complex topics, and to create and produce customized reporting templates, project portfolios, and target operating models; Utilizing knowledge of Business Decision Modeling to decipher decentralized decision points in a front-to-back process and to code centralized set of business rules and partnering with technology to cohesively implement with the decision rule engine; Building relationships across regions and working with divisional leadership, senior Operations management, and the Technology businesses to drive change; Conducting due diligence to create a project roadmap that is flexible to meet stakeholder objectives but remains rooted in design standards and divisional strategy; Managing multiple tasks and pivot and focus on a specific critical initiative across a landscape of multiple projects supporting a number of business lines; and Documenting and communicating technical and operational complex issues and workflows clearly to a wide array of stakeholders with differing levels of experience using both written and verbal formats including RAG reporting, steering committees, team meetings.
