Job ID: TR-1045387 Description: Principal Divisional Strategy Consultant- Value Based Care Implementation and Delivery BASIC FUNCTION: This position serves as an implementation and delivery lead supporting and leading complex projects or a program with a number of sub-projects that pertain directly to Value Based Care. The work can focus on the strategy and execution of existing and new network offerings (in group, government and retail markets) or other project/product implementations as assigned. It will require oversight over project scope and ensuring that it is aligned with stated business objectives; setting and managing customer/stakeholder expectations; managing and escalating issues and changes; developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders; articulating the downstream business and system impacts of the implementations. This role acts as a liaison between line of business owners, Plan Network teams, and system implementation teams. This position interfaces with various business teams to achieve goals and desired outcomes, developing a thorough understanding of business needs and coordinating them with the overall HCSC strategy; working closely with all customers to understand state specific environments and evolving cost of care savings and industry needs to meet business goals. Additional responsibilities include effectively managing relationships with internal / external departments including but not limited to Plan Networks, Product Implementation / Product Solutions, EHCM and technical teams. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Develop and lead small to medium complex projects including project planning, issue logs, reports and documentation. * Support and participate in large projects. * Act as liaison with IT and business operations. * Respond to business/technical questions from staff. * Lead and/or participate in project meetings and workgroups. * Gather critical and/or sensitive data and disseminate it appropriately based on the overall project need and sensitivity. * Develop and manage relationships with ITG and internal/external client organizations within business and technical environments. Develops thorough understanding of client's organizations and ITG division and technologies. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested. Required Job Qualifications: * Bachelor degree and 6 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR Masters/ Professional Degree and 5 years consulting experience involving strategic planning, business development and financial management operations OR 8 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry. * Experience leading and formulating strategy with the ability to build strong connections with people and teams. * Drive results by working across departments in matrixed environment. * Interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and verbal communication. * Experience with business analytics and information synthesis. * Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends * Able to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities. * Work directly with corporate leadership. * Analytical, program management and problem solving skills.
