The Consumer Credit Center Loan QC Analyst II performs many duties during the underwriting and approval of consumer loan requests. This position completes an initial review of submitted credit files to assure completeness, communicates with Loan Officers if items are missing, completes appraisal/valuation reviews for adherence to the approved LTV requirements, prepares Regulation B report to ensure compliance and assigns files as necessary, works with third party vendors and assigns files as appropriate, tracks third party underwriting assignments to ensure all deals are worked in a timely fashion, assists in internal audit compliance matters, and completes the monthly HMDA report. Primary Responsibilities * Reviews incoming consumer loan applications to ensure complete files have been submitted. Once reviewed file will be routed in the Loan Origination System. If file is incomplete, communicates with the loan office to address any missing information. * Assesses valuation on real estate to ensure the LTV is within loan approved terms. Works with Credit Center Underwriter if value is insufficient. * Prepares and distributes the Regulation B report to the Credit Center Underwriters and the third party underwriters. Ensures that Reg B compliance is maintained. * Assigns and tracks all files underwritten by the third party underwriter. Ensures that an adequate number of files are assigned to fully utilize this underwriting resource. * Works with Credit Center management to rectify any internal audit recommendations. * Completes annual E-Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function. Secondary Responsibilities * Performs other duties as assigned. Management Responsibilities * This job has no management responsibilities. Qualifications * Bachelors Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Finance preferred * Associates required * 3-5 years in consumer credit processing. * 1-3 years of experience in consumer loan package review. * Possess a thorough understanding of the consumer credit process. * Ability to work effectively with internal and external business partners to accomplish mutual goals. * Strong problem solving and attention to detail skills, resolves problems in a timely manner. * Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Comprehensive knowledge of Bank Core Systems. * Proficient computer skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Colorado law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs. For candidates sitting in the state of Colorado the range is as follows: $60,000-$70,000 This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors. Position may be eligible for annual incentive compensation program.
