The team creates and implements the partnerships necessary to design, develop, and scale aircraft production, build the infrastructure and ecosystem that support industry requirements, and gain widespread public adoption. Our team works by, with, and through external organizations globally to include industry leaders in aviation, robotics, infrastructure, financing, and emerging technologies. Additionally, the Partnership Team builds and maintains lasting relationships with national and local level organizations in the U.S. and abroad, to include federal regulatory bodies, transportation agencies, educational institutions, and state & local level governments. We are incredibly passionate about our people and looking for collaborative and innovative leaders to join us in this exciting endeavor.As a Partnerships Analyst, you will have a key role in determining Hyundai UAM's successful development of cutting edge technology and entry into the UAM market. You will help support efforts, within the U.S. and globally, to design and implement partnerships with leading UAM vehicles and sub-systems players. Our ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in building deep and extended partnerships across a diverse set of stakeholders as well as a background working in emerging aviation technologies.A new role, the Analyst will be asked to support work on several major initiatives, including:* Identifying technology needs with the vehicle development team, strategizing how to fulfill these needs, and then executing globally on the strategic plan* Driving the exploration and execution of internal partnerships within the broader Hyundai Group* Exploring technology innovation for the UAM development team through a creative ecosystem approachResponsibilities:* Drive development of Vehicle & Sub-system partner strategies, supports others as necessary* Act as a face of Hyundai UAM partnerships and directly own and manage relationships with Vehicle & Sub-system partners* Take an analytical approach to building and communicating the business case for partnerships, directly aligned with UAM priorities* Liaise with partners to communicate needs, solve issues, and continuously improve relationships* Track, measure, and report progress against KPIs for Vehicle & Sub-systems partners* Continuously build the portfolio of partnerships through targeted outreach and network building* Work with stakeholders to cultivate a healthy ecosystem and strengthen their perception of Hyundai UAM within the industry* Develop innovative concepts to engage with the UAM ecosystem globally to drive technology innovation* Develop a deep understanding of the UAM landscape and a clear vision of Hyundai's role now and in the future* Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering, business development, program management, product management, or similar* Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred; MA or BA in engineering, business, aviation, or similar field, preferred* Experience working with business development, procurement, or supply chain required, preferably in the aviation industry* Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and superb written, oral, and interpersonal skills* Adept at working with engineers on technical details and concepts as much as interfacing with a board level audience; able to abstract and synthesize key information* Feeling comfortable down in the engineering weeds but also abstracting requirements to a board-level audience* Comfortable managing cross-functional projects with excellent organizational skills* Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with internal and external senior business leaders* Analytical and collaborative approach to problem solving* Ability to work effectively on a small team where all members are expected to take on significant responsibility* Preferred experience in the mobility space with Unmanned Aerial Systems or Urban Air Mobility* Demonstrated success in a rigorous top-tier academic program* Willingness to travel, up to 20%Hyundai Motor Group is at the forefront of creating emerging mobility solutions that will foster the development of human-centered cities.
