Technical Program Manager - Radio/Wireless Access Networks Job Description The Wireless Access Network Division (WAND) is responsible for delivering innovations to manage the increasing complexity of Intel's radio product portfolio while decreasing the Total Cost of Ownership for our customers. Radio is a key architectural control point for network transformation and essential for 5G success. The WAND Program Management office is looking for a dynamic and driven Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of Radio products and platforms to accelerate the transformation. In this role you will lead a matrixed, cross organizational team that is directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology or products for external customers. You will manage programs of large scope, impact, and complexity through all phases of the lifecycle. Additionally, you will manage interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders to deliver an integrated, proven platform. You will have strong decision-making authority at the program level. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Sets direction for programs by determining and balancing the technical need vs business impact of program/project decisions and operates within guardrails. * Key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally. * Assigns overall tasks to others managing general areas of responsibility in support of program / platform goals. * Aids in the development, definition, and execution of Plan of Record (POR) that includes schedules, resources, and deliverables. * Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met. * Creates, tracks, adjusts the program schedule analyzing/honing Critical Path. * Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate. * Assesses risks and identifies solutions or mitigations to timely, efficient achievement of program goals. * Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions. * Influences business unit or cross organizational strategies relevant to program goals. The ideal candidate will also have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below. * Strong stakeholder management with experience influencing individuals, organizations, technologies and industry. * Strong leadership skills to leverage cross group talent and relationships to achieve goals. * Effective communication skills with ability to articulate and up-level information based on the audience. * Desire to learn/lead through ambiguity. Self-motivated to and willing to take additional responsibilities over time to contribute to the team's success. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree with 8 years+ of experience in Platform/Product Development and/or Program Management or Master's Degree with 6 years+ of experience in Platform/Product Development and/or Program Management. * Program Management experience with a proven track record of delivering on-time results within budget. Additional Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications: * Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with Marketing and/or Business Development. * Experience working with Architecture, Firmware/Software, and Platform engineering teams. * Knowledge of cell technology/RF systems. * Knowledge of pre and post-Silicon design, manufacturing, validation, quality, and reliability processes.
