Description The Opportunity External Wholesaler in the Trust company responsible for driving sales. The Team The MassMutual Trust Company partners with financial professionals to strengthen their practice and secure affluent family assets by providing investment and fiduciary expertise with personalized private client services. The Impact: As an External Wholesaler in the Trust Company, you will: * Work on case design in a consultative manor by providing historical analysis, current performance, legal document reviews and procedural processes to win new business. * Provide sales marketing collateral and specific product and investment illustrations to support their territory and enable new business. * Design creative marketing strategies and campaigns to generate new business opportunities. * Analyze competitor insights and data to provide MMFA advisors with competitive information and positioning support. * Provide advisor training on product features that enable sales growth for their region and to deliver on the objectives of their business plans. * Problem solve for advisors looking for Wealth Management, Trust and Private Client solutions. * Develop effective business sales plans and determine required steps to deliver on these plans. * Respond to advisor and firm inquiries in a timely and accurate manner providing professional sales-oriented information (product information, illustrations, forms and marketing materials) to producers. * Become proficient in illustrations and new business tools * Act as a liaison on behalf of Sales for the advisor and other sales entities that do business with us informing them of ongoing products and communications. * Work as a contributing team member to assist in achieving the sales goals of the MassMutual Trust Company and provide backup to the other members of the team when needed. * Work collaboratively with supporting operational areas to problem solve and to address any issues that would impact the ability of a submitted case to be reported in a timely manner, respectful of procedures The Minimum Qualifications * High School Diploma * 5 + years of external sales experience selling investment management and trust services * Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce and with other new business tools * Strong public speaking and presentation skills with sound investment knowledge * Excellent interpersonal skills * Flexibility and ability to travel 70% - 80% within NE territory * Located within territory The Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree Compensation Range * Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 + Variable Incentive Compensation *Commensurate with experience What to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the Team * Joining a growing Trust sales team * Focused one-on-one meetings with your manager * Access to mentorship opportunities, training * Networking opportunities including access to Asian, Hispanic/Latinx, African American, women, LGBTQ, veteran and disability-focused Business Resource Groups * Access to learning content on Degreed and other informational platforms * Your ethics and integrity will be valued by a company with a strong and stable ethical business with industry leading pay and benefits #LI-REMOTE #LI-SH1 Why Join Us.
