City Eau Claire State Wisconsin Telecommute No Department Radiology Why Mayo Clinic Position description Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care. Qualifications Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Additional qualifications Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. License or certification ARRT certified in Radiography Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership. Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure). BLS certified Exemption status Non-exempt Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $23.10 per hour. Benefits eligible Yes Schedule Full Time Hours / Pay period 64 Schedule details 0.8 FTE with variable start times dependent on the needs of the department. Part of a 7 member team providing coverage of the Operating Room, Surgery Center and Pain Clinic. Weekend schedule Weekends are covered as O-Call Friday night from end of shift to Monday morning at 07:00. Will share On-Call duty for week days, weekends and holidays equally with the other members of the team.
