Milacron is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Afton, OH. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for growing our aftermarket sales by providing exceptional service to our customers. The team is responsible for both inbound and outbound functions. Inbound activities include phone calls and email requests for parts, researching and quoting parts for customers, and processing orders through our online portal; outbound activities are 'inside sales'. Both sets of activities are centered around growth through excellence in customer service and support in a high paced, dynamic team environment. What Milacron Offers You: * A robust PTO policy with 6 paid sick days, 11 paid holidays, and 3 weeks paid vacation! * Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance, which includes MD Live, RX help center, Medical Advocate Program, and company paid short term & long-term disability. * Generous 401K Matching Program - 3% (base pay) automatic contribution + $.50 for each additional dollar saved on the first 6% of pay saved* * Paid Parental Leave * Competitive pay * Opportunities for development and advancement What you'll do: * Answer phone and email requests and gather all information from customers to prepare correct parts quotes. * Locate parts in our systems and provide ship dates. * Provide customers with accurate, actionable information either via telephone or email. * Communicate with our internal buyer/planners and technical team around customer needs and escalate issues when they arise. * Cross sell and Upsell parts to clients by recommending high use items that are applicable to their equipment and/or discussing service and retrofit/rebuild opportunities. * Process orders and follow up with customers on the status and ship dates. * Tailor sales approach to customers using business analytics including customer purchase patterns, machine ownership, key customer business needs. * Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries. * Capture customer information, including addresses and phone numbers, contact name, equipment/asset serial numbers for future follow-up. * Adjust your presentation based on success/fail averages (replace with 'attain minimum success rate'. * Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication. * Partner with Sales, Service, Technical support, and all Aftermarket teams to assure we provide the best customer service experience. * Assist the field services team with processing customer warranty issues. Basic Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Business or 2 years' relative experience or combination of both education and experience. * Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Must be detail oriented and organized. Great to Haves: * Knowledge of technical equipment, plastics and/or plastics machine parts is a plus. * Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred.
