Electrical/Controls Engineering Intern - Summer 2022

As an Electrical/Controls Engineering Intern, you will assist Electrical Engineers with multiple tasks and projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
* Support Electrical Engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems development
* Select parts or components for quality conscious design, i.e. weight, cost, reliability, and ease of manufacturing
* Use 3D modeling software (CATIA and/or SolidWorks) integrated with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses for trucks
* Follow project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production build and provide technical assistance
* Generate bill of materials
* Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems
WHAT YOU NEED
* Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering degree.

* 3D Modeling and Drafting experience
