You have a strategic and growth mindset with experience in effective communication and execution of strategic goals and visions.As a leader, you are a mentor who is passionate, reflective, and skilled at creating a work environment that motivates team members. As a team member, you are adept at building positive relationships with team members across multiple departments, working collaboratively to communicate tasks, implement changes, and resolve issues.Key Responsibilities:* Develop a deep understanding of the Pacific Seafood strategic plan, business model and the multiple vertically integrated business units; collaborate and align with cross-functional teams to plan and implement business strategies.* Oversee the development and management of processing SOPs and operating plans to meet and/or exceed business objectives. Direct strategies and tactics for achieving financial objectives, based on business projections and budgetary goals.* Assess costing and infrastructure demands on new product development and manufacturing software; collaborate with Research and Development to develop commercial products.* Develop process improvement team to critically review current processes for effectiveness, quality and efficiencies* Build strategic partnerships with vendors to strengthen our supply channels and expand production capabilities* Perform other duties, as neededWhat You Bring to Pacific Seafood:Required* BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or related field* Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience in a fast-paced processing environment, preferably in the food processing industry* Excellent working knowledge of finance and accounting. Ability to read/interpret and explain the P&L* Demonstrate ability in workforce demand planning, managing cost performance and production forecasting* Ability to travel up to 30% of the time or more, as required.Preferred* Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred* Prior seafood production or purchasing management experience* Prior LEAN management and constant process improvement production experienceKeys to Your Success at Pacific SeafoodCore CompetenciesCollaborative Leadership* Foster an environment that encourages others to seek out opinions, feedback and new ideas.
