As a Release Manager within PNC's Enterprise Technology & Security organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Remote work will be considered for a well-qualified candidate. Job Description * Manages multiple aspects of configuration management and ensures the coordinated integration of incremental versions of applications and systems. * Coordinating the build and maintenance of the infrastructure for configuration and release management, for new or enhanced application systems. * Overseeing configuration management procedures and processes; administering version control and issue tracking. * Coordinating a phased-release approach to application/system development and testing * Consulting and collaborating with peers to provide oversight and ensure proper use of tools, methods and schedules to enable compliance with the change management process. * Creating and maintaining reports within proper tools to support the release process. * Support after hours releases at a minimum of once per month with the availability to support additional releases as needed. Cross-Team Integration - Ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team. IT Environment - Knowledge of an organization's IT purposes, activities and standards; ability to create an effective IT environment for business operations. IT Governance - Knowledge of the strategies, accountability framework, organizational structure and processes used to encourage proper behavior in IT activities and operations, and ability to implement IT systems and controls to meet business needs and requirements. Software Development Life Cycle - Knowledge of and experience with using a structured methodology for delivering new or enhanced software products to the marketplace. Software Release Management - Knowledge of, and experience with, strategies, practices and tools for managing versions and distribution of software products and enhancements. System and Technology Integration - Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems, and the ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered. Education Bachelors Additional Job Description Base Salary: 650,000 - $187,450 Where a person is paid in the compensation range is aligned to their experience and skills. Placement within the compensation range is based on the specific role and the following factors: * Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the job * Within the range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role * Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role * Compensation Range may vary based on Geographic Location INCENTIVE Role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and individual performance.
