Company: Precision Drilling Location: Houston, Texas Summary The Manager, Contracts & Marketing is responsible for creating competitive bids and winning contracts with customers while maintaining customer satisfaction and growth. Requires constant customer interface as well as maintaining an industry presence to grow Precision's clientele. Responsibilities * Ability to deliver results through a professional sales process using formal technics to drive growth in strategic and targeted accounts. * Aptitude and ability to understand and sell technology and software as a service. * Must be flexible and able to travel to meet with business leaders. * Identify new customers and business opportunities through research and networking. * Strong negotiations, presentation, and communication skills * Manage new and current contracts, contract extensions, amendments, and comply with company policies regarding documentation control and confidentiality. * Monitor and update CRM for account management. * Creates cost effective, competitive bids and contracts and ensures that data on all bids and contracts is complete and correct prior to submitting. * Works along-side Operations, to monitor, evaluate and manage rig performance for compliance with contractual requirements. * Prepares sales forecasts, assists executives in the preparation of divisional marketing plans, and coordinates marketing plans for overall business needs. * Assists with business development activities and liaises with vendors, customers, and other agencies to ensure that Precision is well informed on changing market conditions and trends. * Generates and develops innovative practical solutions to contract/marketing problems. * Interacts with customers on a daily basis to ensure an excellent level of service is being achieved. * Professionally represents Precision at any company, vendor, client and/or industry functions. * Communicates effectively with all Precision personnel, as well as with vendors, clients, and future clients. * Understands company, operational and marketing goals and works as a team member to ensure that these goals are met. * Maintains a positive work-place environment by fostering morale and good employee relations; and, * Performs all other related duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing, or equivalent. Experience Experience in negotiating contracts. Experience in technology focused sales. Extensive knowledge of the Drilling Industry.
