Summary##### Greet visitors and refers same to staff members or departments to ensure that visitors are promptly served.# Operate a multi-line telephone console and takes and relays messages and refers callers to proper staff members. Ensures that each guest and caller has an excellent customer service experience. ########## ######################## Duties and Responsibilities # Greets visitors; determines nature of visitors# business and provides appropriate information and/or refers visitors to appropriate staff members or departments to ensure that visitors are properly directed and informed.# # Completes connection sheet for each visitor or caller seeking information about PSC services and programs. Follows standard incoming call protocol as defined during training. # Conducts tours as necessary. # Operates a multi-line telephone console in order to relay incoming, outgoing and intra-system calls.# Pages selected employees to route urgent calls and messages to ensure that messages are promptly received. # Performs various related clerical duties including:# typing brief memos, letters and forms; filing; photocopying; maintaining logs of items in order to support other departments and assist with reporting results of department operations; distributing mail and newspapers to residents; assembling brochure packets and ensuring supplies are available to make packets. # Monitors visitor traffic at entrance requesting visitors to sign in.# security if any problems noted. # Serves as a point of contact for visitors/families to request special events and or transportation.# Is proficient in implementation of emergency procedures for accident, elopement, fire, weather , or other disaster. # Collaborates with other team/household members to ensure a person-centered culture in meeting the needs and desires of residents and other staff. # Updates the in-house Touchtown communication channel and communication board if applicable and as needed. # Updates Campus phone directory on an as needed basis to reflect accurate names and numbers. Distributes new lists. # Supports and provides lunch and break coverage to other concierge staff at the Campus as directed by supervisor. # # Computer Skills############################################## To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.
