A DAY IN THE LIFE In this role, you will… * Facilitate client's product visions by understanding business requirements and researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products. * Translate fuzzy concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences. * Rapidly design and deliver user journeys, wireframes and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces, from low to high fidelity. * Be a systems-thinker, defining high-level Information Architecture, and roadmapping future UX strategies * Be comfortable facilitating discovery and design workshops * Provide professional mentorship to junior designers within the UX team * Have experience with contextual inquiry and user testing * Be responsible for planning and overseeing basic design processes and systems * Be able to articulate design decisions and provide supporting evidence WHO YOU ARE You possess … * Minimum of three or more years of UX design related experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex enterprise and/or mobile products. * Expertise in product design softwares such as Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, Overflow and Zeplin. Fluent in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Basic HTML5 and CSS3 skills are a plus. * Ability to work with internal business groups to understand detailed requirements and then design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision. * Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a solid understanding of mobile-first and responsive design. Responsibilities * Facilitate client's product visions by understanding business requirements and researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products. * Translate fuzzy concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences. * Rapidly design and deliver user journey maps, wireframes and prototyped mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces, from low to high fidelity. * Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions in a fast-paced Enterprise environment. * Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. * Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. * Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. * Comfortable working with a Design System. * Champion new ideas and methods of accomplishing stakeholder goals. Qualifications * Three or more years of UX design related experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex enterprise solutions for complete digital environments. * Expertise in product design softwares such as Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, and Zeplin. Fluent in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Basic HTML5 and CSS3 skills are a plus. * Ability to work with internal business groups to understand detailed requirements and then design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision. * Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a solid understanding of mobile-first and responsive design. * A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, and usability and accessibility concerns. * Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently. * Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients - visually, verbally, and in written communication. * A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design. * Familiar with accessible (A11Y) design requirements (WCAG 2.1standards) * Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval. * Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them. * Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism. * Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies. * Educational background or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Psychology or related field.
