Job Summary The Senior Manager of Commissary position is responsible for the overall direction of the On-Board Logistics department. This includes strategically overseeing a leadership team that is responsible for drivers, production, inventory, and outstation catering for scheduled and charter flight operations. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Oversee and lead the Commissary operation for Minneapolis and all outstations for all scheduled and catering flights * Develop and maintain effective organization of responsibility, including efficient recruiting, training, coaching, recognition, workflow patterns, performance standards, delineation of duties and responsibilities, staffing levels and supervision * Assist in the selection of vendors for outstation Catering * Partner with outstation vendors to ensure planes are serviced in a safe and efficient manner * Develop policies and procedures to maintain compliance and increase efficiency * Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement short- and long-term strategy for the Commissary department * Monitor and track performance to ensure superior operational and financial performance and full compliance with company quality expectations * Responsible for development and administration of annual department budget to attain business goals with operations stability * Direct and report all safety investigation in the Commissary department * Ensure compliance with company policies, state, and federal laws * Any other duties assigned by management Supervisory Responsibility * Manager of Commissary * Manager of Commissary Purchasing Required Skills * Excellent communication skills both verbal, written, and presentation skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Strong leadership and coaching skills * High energy, results driven leader with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously * Ability to proactively identify solutions to complex issues and include appropriate decision makers Required Experience * 3-5 years of experience in directing and managing operations * Experience managing day to day facility operations: staffing, payroll, and administration * Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in related field * AIMS software experience Additional Notes * Must be able to obtain SIDA badge All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
