Advertising Copy The Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Vermont (UVM) seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of DNA repair and genomic instability. Applicants must have a Ph.D. with significant postdoctoral experience and a track record of scientific productivity. Successful applicants are expected to have or develop a vibrant, extramurally funded research program. They will be expected to participate in undergraduate, graduate, and/or medical teaching. A competitive salary, startup funds, and space will be provided. Information about the department may be found on our website at: http://www.med.uvm.edu/mmg/ The candidate will be a faculty member in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, which is a vibrant and growing department positioned within both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Medicine. Our research laboratories study diverse topics such as microbial pathogenicity, vaccinology, human immunology, structural biology, bioinformatics, and protein-DNA interactions in cancer biology.
