Purpose of Position* Responsible for identifying root cause and driving corrective action related to the quality and reliability of our products. Acts as the key contact for both customers (internal and external) and suppliers with respect to quality. Drives quality improvements through design and fabrication to find sustainable, structural solutions.* Manages the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) programs at Hennessy Industries, BADA Division facilityKey Responsibilities* Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for safety and quality requirements* Ability to lead a small team, prior leadership experience preferred but not required* Establish and manage continuous improvement plans where quality and safety can be improved* Limit impact of production disruptions due to quality and/or safety issues through; implementation of short-term countermeasures, problem solving, and design/development of final resolution* Lead safety and quality process failure discussions, audits, and investigations to ensure consistency of solutions across all facilities* Analyze warranty and internal quality data driving improvements to assembly process, material and/or design changes to improve overall quality and reliability.* Analyze and disposition supplier non-conforming material (internal and external)* Complete oversight of the company's QMS and EMS* Deliver all safety and quality training to associates and new hires* Manage the company's yellow card safety system* Any other duties assigned by management* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required, BS in Engineering preferred* Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes, prepare outlines, reports, letters, and any other supplemental materials in a clear and concise manner* Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint* Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Ability to write and manage Process Control Plans* Prior experience in 5S, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Root Cause Analysis, Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R), and Design of Experiments (DOE)* Prior experience in handling compliance issues, OSHA/EPA programs, regulatory reviews, permit preparation, reporting, and record keeping* Experience in evaluating/interpreting OSHA and EPA regulations* Experience with Federal, State and local Worker's Compensation law* Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferredFuture cities are smarter cities, and they need infrastructure and tools for advanced mobility, reliability, safety, efficiency, and quality of life.
