Fully suited with the most high-tech optometric technology available, this practice uses behind-the-scenes technology including automated digital phoropters, anterior segment cameras, OPTOS, Lipi View II/ Lipi Flow, Cirrus OCT, Maestro OCT, KRW -1 W Wave Front Analyzer, and a Keratograph 5M.About the openingSt. John's Eye Associates is seeking an Associate Optometrist passionate about providing excellent clinical eye care to patients of all ages and visual diagnosis, including comprehensive eye care to juvenile patients in order to identify early vision-related problems. You will also provide specialized care to special populations such as patients over the age of 65, with a focus on conditions such as macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.Additionally, you will screen and manage common ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration; diagnose and treat anterior segment disease; provide surgical co-management care; educate patients about proper contact lens care; and, consult with patients about nutritional supplements to protect their vision and ocular health. A candidate with experience, or interested in exploring dry eye management, myopia management, ocular surface disease, or specialty contacts would be a complementary addition to the practice.This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with an amazing team who will support the transition into the new position.
