Job no: 492588 Work type: Tenure track faculty Location: Chester Categories: Faculty Widener University is currently seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the College of Arts and Sciences to start in fall 2021. Teaching duties will include introductory and intermediate computer science courses in Python and Java, computer science labs, and upper-level courses in the candidate's area of expertise. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, will be ready to pursue an active research program that will include significant participation by undergraduate students, and will be committed to contribute to departmental, campus and professional service. The candidate will also be expected to advise students and supervise senior design and implementation projects.
